Bright Winter Lights | Bolsover Castle

AE Technical Production recently supported Lindley Productions and Urban Projections to provide lighting and power for Rebecca Smith’s visual masterpiece, In Full Colour, at the Bright Winter Lights event at Bolsover Castle. The projection art, displayed on the side of the castle, created a vibrant, immersive experience for visitors.

AE Technical was asked by Andy at Lindley Productions to supply lighting design and programming services to complement the projection piece. The castle grounds provided the perfect canvas, with century-old buildings and walls to uplight and illuminate.

AE Technical handled all lighting aspects using SGM G7 Spots and Astera AX9 wireless uplighters, all controlled through an Avolites console. The show was timecoded to run alongside the projections, allowing everything to run automatically throughout the night.

Additionally, AE Technical provided the power solutions needed to support the lighting, audio, and projection equipment. We supplied the necessary cabling and distribution to ensure reliable operation throughout the event.
